We Believe Everybody Has a Story

We believe that every patient has a unique story, goals, and desires. Every day in our practice, we meet patients who feel discomfort and pain. No one needs to go through life being self-conscious about his or her physical abilities. Together we will create a plan that works for you and enables you to have the life you’ve always wanted, and tell the story that really describes you.

Is your body feeling soar and tired? Is it simply not moving well? Whether your problem is caused by injury, illness or simple wear and tear, our physiotherapists specialize in treating the individual’s needs through both manual therapy and prescribed therapeutic exercise programs. We focus on measures to reduce your pain, improve your movement and functionality, and most importantly teach the individual to maintain their healthy lifestyle.

Chiropractic care is no longer only the practice affiliated with treating the “unhealthy”. At Conquer, we believe in a preventative strategy and implementing a maintenance program to ensure our clients overall health and wellness as an everyday priority.

Your Conquer chiropractor will perform a Clinical Fitness Function Screen to assess your range of motion, strength, posture and functional movement, to determine what’s happening in your body and the best course of treatment.

Whether you require relaxation, reduce muscle tension or attain relief from chronic pain, a registered massage therapist can enhance your overall sense of physical well-being.

Massage therapy can be an important part of your health maintenance plan by:

  • Reducing Or Eliminating Pain
  • Improving Joint Mobility
  • Improving Circulation
  • Improving Lymphatic Drainage
  • Reducing Muscular Tension

The primary feature of modern acupuncture is the premise that good health relies on the restoration and maintenance of harmony, balance and order to the individual. Acupuncture takes a holistic approach to understanding normal function and disease processes and focuses as much on the prevention of illness as it does on the treatment.Acupuncture treatments focus on the underlying condition as well as treating the presenting symptoms. Treatments work on the basis of individualized formula for each patient.

What is Qi and how does it affect the body?

When healthy, an abundant supply of qi (pronounced chee) or ‘life energy’ flows through the body’s meridians (a network of unseen channels through the body). If the flow of qi becomes blocked or there is an inadequate supply of qi, then the body fails to maintain harmony, balance and order and disease or illness follows. This can result from stress, overwork, poor diet, disease pathogens, environmental conditions and other lifestyle factors.

Fascial Stretch Therapy

Fascial stretch therapy–or, simply, FST –is a type of stretching that targets the connective tissue which surrounds muscles, bones and joints. Basically, your fascia is like a plastic that wraps around your muscles. Where regular stretching doesn’t address the fascia, fascial stretch therapy comes in. What makes FST® so different from traditional static stretching or Yoga is that you will gain a range of motion and flexibility without the pain that is often associated with traditional stretching.

As 50% of your tightness &/or stiffness comes from your joint capsule. FST treatment uses a gentle but firm traction to target the stiffness or compression in your joint capsule which then results in the release of surrounding tissues.
